About Parfums Frapin
Whilst Frapin produce exceptional fine fragrances today, their story dates back to 1270.
The Frapin family began distilling the best cognacs in the world from their castle in South-West France – building an unrivalled reputation that would be passed onto generations. Fast-forward to 2008 and the brand treated the senses once again, this time with their new opulent fragrances. Designed to transport you back to the château, cognac distillery and rolling acres of vineyards, these invite you to experience the family’s charming history. Named after the year the brand was founded, Frapin 1270 translates the cosiness of the château through candied orange, coffee and spice notes. For a smooth blend evocative of their evening liquor tastings, try Passion Boisée and its wafts of nutmeg, clove & oak.
PARFUM MUSE EDITOR’S NOTE
“Luxury fragrances are rarely inspired by fascinating families like Frapin. But when they are, it makes them utterly enchanting. With centuries of know-how producing cognac, there’s so much depth and allure to Frapin perfumes. The natural raw materials take you directly back to ancient France, like hay and sap in Frapin Paradis Perdu and tobacco and rum in Frapin Speakeasy.”
